A Weekend of Intimate Enquiry & Sacred Creativity
with Joseph & Elisabeth Josephs-Serra
Elisabeth & Joseph were based in Devon until recently, when they moved to Spain. They have been holding year-long Initiatory Journeys for men and women for many years. Joseph is 58, Elisabeth 56. They have been together for 20 years. Travelling deeply, bringing men and women into community with each other, they work at the cutting edge where men, toppled from the Patriarchal Pedestal, disempowered and confused, struggle to meet the Rising Feminine which women embody so boldly, and at which women meet their millenial fear, and have to discriminate heart-rage from impatience, scorn and revenge.
Can we explore this edge – the evolutionary edge of our era – this ‘Dance of Our Times’ without opposition, as each other´s allies, in community, in intimacy? Can we open to this struggle in humility, in presentness, without rights and wrongs, without fixed opinions… and let song, poetry, story, dance and ritual lead us, spin us, shape us, transport us… to a place where there are no answers, but where the enquiry is deep and heartful and rich and soulful?
Elisabeth & Joseph invite you to join them for this weekend of profound intimacy and creativity, which may become the precursor to an ongoing exploration in the Findhorn area.

“Working with Joseph and indirectly with Elisabeth led me to embrace my conditioning; to unhinge and inhabit previously uninhabitable, unfeelable bodies; to develop particularly warrior and lover sensibilities; to start to consciously comprehend the depth of my masculinity and in turn to discern and respect the heart of the feminine. As a group we initiated a revelatory expanse of brotherhood and a royal homage to the vastness of our sisters, exposing the seeds of powerful and empowered community. And out of all this for my intimate self, I find new tender, exquisite buds of love with woman, regularly kiss the erotic pleasures of engaged, relational joy and feel the promise of a once unimaginable freedom.” Simon Clark, participant in the 2012 year-long Men´s Initiatory Journey.
